About the Browser Version: unfortunately, due to the recently announced changes to Unity's pricing structure, we will no longer be hosting the browser version of Eclectic Expansion Enterprise anywhere.

It is the 726th century - Humanity has expanded among the many galaxies, numbering in the quintillions, joining the teeming cornucopia of intergalactic sentient life. Wanting to experience different ways of living, a massive new wave of colonization begins as people seek to experience a less technic life.

Gameplay

You take on the role of an Ecxo, travelling far ahead of the colonization waves, and leagues outside of Human inhabited space. It is your task to setup the initial phases of system colonization. You will build matter extractors, solar collectors, surveyors, and the like to assess suitability of planets and solar systems. Collect data along the way to research new ways to optimize your buildings, your ship, and your enterprise. How far will you go?

  • Incremental Gameplay, start out with basic technologies and improve them as you gather new data from planets
  • Explore new landing sites, setting up an economy, gathering resources, and collecting data to return to your ship
  • Upgrade your buildings to explore, expand, and exploit on their own, and watch as your landing zone grows from barren landing to sprawling complex
  • Upgrade your ship over time, and take to new systems, exploring planets faster and faster.
  • Clone a new Ringer of yourself, warp to a new galaxy, and do it all again! (Gaining powerful advantages along the way)

Current build: 7 - core planet gameplay, first and second prestige layer, tier 0 and 1 tech tree, speed controls, adjacency and clustering mechanic, rocketry and local orbit, warping to other planets.

The tutorial shows an overwhelming amount of information at start, and I have no way to look it up later on. Please add something in the options so I can look it up when needed.

Hey wyp020610,

Thanks for the feedback. We are planning to add the codex in the next version, this will allow players to re-open any tutorial that has already been seen.

Please add an option to disable UI animations and try to fix the bug which prevents tiles from being selected for a while. So far the unresponsive UI  is the biggest downside of the game.

in which situation are the tiles not able to be selected? During landing? During regular gameplay? Some other situation?

During regular gameplay. The double click is sometimes not registered properly, so one has to repeatedly double click before the tile gets selected.

The tile under the center tile seemed especially weird to select - but not always. I don't know why or when it became weird.

It should just be a single click to select a tile, it might've been an issue with the click and drag interfering with the click to select.
Try the new build 3.2. That one has the option to turn off UI anims and should fix the double clicking issue. Post here again if the issue persists in that build.

Good update. Game works pretty well this way.

If you're having issues with lag on the browser version, try closing down some tabs. If the issue persists, try a different browser or download the standalone build.

Not sure if self replication is supposed to be working yet, but it doesnt seem to...

Thanks for reporting that, it's appreciated. It's on the bug list, and will be fixed in the next build.

Game has a problem with window dimensions.

Thanks for the report, it's been added to the bug list.
