Weekend Wave #3


Hey All!

Another week, another wave. This time around, it's survivability improvements as we prep for more maps, along with some explosives for added survivability.

Major Changes

- Added grenades as an ability on the E key. These come with their own set of stats to upgrade such as damage, explosion radius, cooldown between throws, and number of charges.

- Added an Armor sublayer to the player. This essentially acts as a shield, and will take damage until it runs out of ablative. As long as there is ablative remaining, the armor hardness will reduce incoming damage.


- Filled in the Armor panel in the Armory. You can now upgrade the armor ablative and hardness in the Armory on the player ship.


What's Next

Next up, another map! We'll be working on the Pirate Frigate map, as a middle ground between the Corvette and Cruiser.
